Bigfoot, popularly referred to as Sasquatch, is a fabled and elusive creature that resembles an ape in size and hair. Several sightings and interactions of Bigfoot have been reported around North America. Some locations have been identified as possible Bigfoot hotspots as a result of these reports. It is important to note that almost every State and Province has Sighting reports. Here are some noteworthy examples:

Pacific Northwest (Washington, Oregon, Northern California)

● This region is perhaps the most famous hotspot for Bigfoot sightings. The dense forests and rugged terrain make it a suitable environment for an elusive creature to hide. The famous Patterson-Gimlin film, which is often cited as evidence of Bigfoot's existence, was filmed in Bluff Creek, California.

Cascade Mountains:

● The Cascade mountain range, which runs from northern California through Oregon and Washington, is known for its remote and heavily forested areas. There have been numerous Bigfoot sightings reported in these mountains over the years.

Olympic Peninsula (Washington):

● The Olympic Peninsula is another area known for its dense rainforests and isolated wilderness. It has a history of reported Bigfoot encounters and is home to the Olympic Project, a research group dedicated to studying the creature.

Sierra Nevada Mountains (California):

● The Sierra Nevada range is also a region where Bigfoot sightings have been reported. The combination of remote wilderness and large expanses of forested land provides potential habitats for such a creature.

Northern Rockies (Montana, Idaho):

The rugged terrain and extensive forests of the Northern Rockies offer potential hiding spots for elusive creatures like Bigfoot. Reports of sightings have come from this region as well.

British Columbia (Canada):

● This Canadian province has its own history of Bigfoot sightings and is often considered part of the overall Bigfoot phenomenon in the region.

Alberta(Canada):

● Many reported and investigated sightings from this province in Canada. Plenty of historical reports going back many years.

Ohio River Valley:

● Moving east, the Ohio River Valley has also seen a significant number of Bigfoot sightings over the years, particularly in states like Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia.

Florida Everglades:

● Even in the subtropical swamps of Florida, there have been reported sightings of a creature referred to as the "Skunk Ape," which is often considered a Southern variant of Bigfoot.
